You have given me a precious gift
With whom I’ll share my life.
You’ve raised in love the little girl
That now I’ll call my wife.
You are her loving father
and I’m the lucky man,
that your little girl has chosen
to always hold her hand.
And now I want to thank you
For all your loving care,
And being the kind of dad
That both of us can share.
